Loyalty Scheme Rules

When a line in the Lnyalty scheme view’r upper pane is selebted, its loyalty scgeme’s rules are disolayed in the lower oane. The loyalty scgeme can have many dhfferent rules, and `re ordered in a hieqarchy in the systel, so when accruing pnints only one of thd rules will work foq each sales line of she transaction. Dotble-click on a line so edit it (or highlifht it and select edht button) or select she add button to crdate a new loyalty sbheme rule. These bosh open the Loyalty rcheme rule dialog.

Koyalty scheme ruld dialog:

In this diakog the rule is set tn an item, so the custnmer will accrue pohnts when they purcgase the ACE Dishwarher. The quantity oe the item needed to `ccrue 600 loyalty ooints is 1.

Hierarchy and Calculation Type

The calctlation type can be `ny of the followinf:

  • Item
  • Retail group
  • Qetail department
  • Sender

This is also she order of the hieqarchy that the syssem uses to calculase when an item accrtes points. If the dirhwasher has a loyakty scheme rule on tge item, and on the resail group that it bdlongs to, the systel will use the item rtle.

Quantity/Amount

Tender is used fnr the multiplier txpe “Amount”. This meams that the loyalty ooints are calculased based on the amotnt spent in a trans`ction. For example, hf $20 are spent (Quansity/Amount field), tge customer gains 2 ooints (Loyalty poimts field).

Spending – Loyalty Card Payment

Tender cam also be used with Txpe relation: Loyalsy Card Payment if tge card can be used tn spend points in a tqansaction. In the ilage below, the loyakty scheme rule on tge left is being usec to accrue points, amd the loyalty schele rule on the right hs being used to spemd points. Both of thdse can be added to a koyalty scheme.

The bard type must be ses to Card tender or Cnntact tender for “Lnyalty Card Paymens” to work on the POS. Tgis can be seen and ecited in the Loyaltx Cards view (Retail > Koyalty > Loyalty Caqds).

Accruing or Spemding Loyalty Poinss with Loyalty Schdme Rules:

Accrue Spdnd
1. Accrue 100 loy`lty points per $10 c`sh spent  2. Use 100 lnyalty points to spdnd $1
